Naughty, naughty! Not much to look at yet, but I have great plans for this little chap. I added a few unique touches at the building stage, as well as a liberal dose of icons and purity seals. The various weapon options are all built and will be left unglued to the body so I can swap them out depending on what force I am fielding.
He has obviously been in a lot of battles as there are quite a few old scars on his hull. I intend for him to be very weathered when he's finished.
I think my Marine chapter is obviously one that recruits from a very feral world somewhere in the Imperium. This Dreadnaught has some form of ceremonial shield, made of stretched skins, hanging from his waist like a sporran.

WIP - Human Auxilieries - Bare Arms
This model mixes some Catchan, Cadian and Tau parts. The legs, arms and Las-gun are Catchan while the head and torso are Cadian.
While building this figure I noticed that both the Catchan legs and the Cadian torso have a belt on them. If the two parts are combined as is it results in a figure with a disproportionatly long body. I found that of the two, it was easier to trim the belt from the torso rather than the legs. Once its done the two bits glue together fine without any noticable oddness.
This soldier is clearly an experienced old hand who has learnt what works for him after years of campaigning. He has adopted the newer issue helmet and torso armor but opted to retain his older pattern boots and fatigue trousers. He is also wearing a short-sleeved shirt under his armor to avoid overheating in combat.

WIP - Human Auxilieries - Pulse Rifle
This is the second member of my auxilliery unit, also armed with Tau weaponry instead of the Tau produced copy of the standard Imperial Las-Gun.
This model is made from mostly Cadian Shock Troop parts, aside from the Pulse Rifle and a Photon Grenade dispenser.
Like the squad leader he has no Imperial markings on any of his kit. Apart from the missing Eagles he looks to be well equiped with quality kit and proceading in an alert fashion.
Obviously a well trained veteran of many campaigns who has proved his worth enough to be trusted with a Pulse Rifle.
Distractions
I couldn't resist the temptation to investigate possabilities with my newly aquired Catchan bits last night, so I now have four and a half Auxilieries on the work bench instead of being nearer to completing some Marines. Never mind. The next few posts show some quick pics of the squad so far. I took the pictures with my phone on the way out of the door this morning, so I apologies for them not being as good a quality as normal

New Additions
Picked these up from the post office this morning. Enough sprues to make 20 Catchan Jungle fighters. I now have the supplies to get cracking on my Tau Human Auxilieries project. With the prospect of a game on Thursday I shall probably spend begining of this week finishing off my Hammerhead and doing some more work on my Marine force.
