Commissar Prochnow

I picked this guy up the other day, mainly because I liked the figure and I've been reading the 'Gaunt's Ghosts' novels by Dan Abbnett recently, so I've got Commissars on the brain at the moment. Turns out they are really quite handy in a game as well :)



The Plasma pistol is a minor conversion. The figure comes with a hand flamer, something which appears not to be covered by the current rule set. I carefully sawed it off and replaced it with one of the plastic plasma pistols for the space marines.

Nice job on the Commissar.

You don't usually see them in anything other than black but I think you've done a really nice job on this one.

nice commisar i usualy stick with the spacemarines over the impirial guard but nun the less well done
